Déjà vu anyone? It’s June, which means one thing: I am prepping for my second month of Camp NaNo!
I’m still working through a new draft of my WIP, Usurper, and for July Camp NaNo this year, I’m going to continue this process.
Last Time for April Camp, I had this same goal, so what went wrong? Actually, nothing. Well, nothing to do with the draft, in any case. I had a few hiccups (including being laid off from my job due to COVID-19 related budget cuts) but I finished the month out and met my goal of 50000 words.
Turns out, this took me only about halfway through the draft! So, after a month off for sanity’s sake, I’m taking June to prep for continuing my rewrite in July.
The goal this time is simple: finish the draft.
Camp NaNo Goal: 40000 words (this may go up if the draft has more to go!)
